A clear sealer for interior or exterior wood that seals the grain before suitable varnish or paint and helps reduce uneven absorption.

Selection and Application

Use as a grain sealer before a suitable varnish or paint, rather than as the final finish. Do not overcoat with two-part varnishes or use with two-part epoxies.

Follow the product label and technical instructions for preparation, mixing, application conditions and overcoating intervals.

Application Reference

Coat schedule	2–3 coats, depending on wood porosity.
Coverage / yield	200–400 ft² per US gallon, depending on wood porosity.
Touch Dry at 73°F (23°C)	2 hrs

Prepare the substrate and use only the primer, thinner and overcoat combinations specified for this product. Application conditions and the next coating affect the required interval.

Coverage is per coat unless a filler thickness is stated. Theoretical figures exclude application losses; practical yield varies with surface, film build and method.

Drying figures are reference values at the stated temperature. Recoating, sanding and launch have separate requirements; follow the selected product label and coating-system schedule.
