Awlgrip Awlwood Multi-Climate Gloss Wood Finish | J4000

J4000 clear gloss Awlwood finish with application characteristics suited to a range of climates, particularly high-temperature conditions.

What is included

One-pack moisture-curing finish; compatible Awlwood primer and reducers are separate.

Application

Brush/roller for coats 1 and 2; brush, roller or spray for later build coats.

Mixing and reduction

Normally unthinned when brushing; up to 10% T0201 or T0202 may be used where specified for the chosen method.

Coats and coverage

Minimum 8 coats and 10 mil total dry-film build. Apply the first two coats at 24-hour intervals with sanding, rather than multiple coats on days 1 and 2.

Working and drying times

At 77°F: approximately 4-hour touch dry, 6-hour sandable time and 24-hour hard dry. Later coats can be applied after the appropriate drying interval.

Compatibility and limits

Seal the original container promptly and decant only a short working quantity. Do not return unused material or use Awlwood brush cleaner/alcohol-based degreasers in the coating process.

Sold as one container in the selected size unless the package description specifically states otherwise. Components shown as separate products are not included.

For professional use. Read the current container label and safety data sheet before opening or mixing. Use the specified ventilation, protective clothing, gloves, eye protection and respiratory protection for the product and application method. Keep solvent-containing materials away from ignition sources. Coating and additive instructions are product-specific.
