Description

A tin-free self-polishing antifouling with dual-biocide technology for prepared boat bottoms. The 7700 Series provides multi-season protection; use the complete preparation and barrier system required for the hull material.

Preparation and application

Apply only to clean, dry, correctly prepared surfaces. Confirm compatibility with the existing bottom paint and use the specified primer or barrier system for the hull material. Copper-bearing antifouling must never contact bare aluminum; use only a system specifically approved for that hull. Mix thoroughly and follow the current label for coat count, film thickness, thinning and launching. Theoretical coverage does not include application losses.

Drying reference

For the pleasure-craft schedule at a substrate temperature of 73°F (23°C), allow a minimum of 12 hours before launching. Drying varies with temperature, humidity, film thickness and ventilation. Use the label’s full recoat and launch schedule for the actual conditions; commercial applications require their own schedule.
