Selection and Application

Overcoat within the specified epoxy system. Do not apply topside finishes, polyester or vinylester materials directly over Watertite.

Follow the product label and technical instructions for preparation, mixing, application conditions and overcoating intervals.

Mix the two components 1:1 by volume. Once cured and sanded, overcoat with a specified compatible epoxy. Do not apply gelcoat, polyester, vinyl ester or topside finish directly over the filler.

Coverage is per coat unless a filler thickness is stated. Theoretical figures exclude application losses; practical yield varies with surface, film build and method.

Drying figures are reference values at the stated temperature. Recoating, sanding and launch have separate requirements; follow the selected product label and coating-system schedule.
