Selection and Application

For primed wooden hull seams below the waterline. Do not apply to bare wood or use under VC Offshore or Baltoplate vinyl antifoulings.

Follow the product label and technical instructions for preparation, mixing, application conditions and overcoating intervals.

Use a knife or spatula in correctly caulked wooden-hull seams below the waterline. This is a seam compound, not a substitute for structural caulking.

Coverage is per coat unless a filler thickness is stated. Theoretical figures exclude application losses; practical yield varies with surface, film build and method.

Drying figures are reference values at the stated temperature. Recoating, sanding and launch have separate requirements; follow the selected product label and coating-system schedule.
