Description
M3066 Cold Cure accelerates the conventional 545 Epoxy Primer system in cool conditions.
What is included
Additive only; use with 545 base and D3001 converter.
Application
Additive for spray or brush/roller primer application.
Mixing and reduction
Mix 545 base:D3001 at 1:1 by volume, induct 15 minutes, then add M3066 up to 12.5% of the combined base/converter volume. It replaces part of the normal reducer allowance.
Compatibility and limits
Use at 50–75°F. It shortens pot life. Observe the different maximum total solvent additions for spraying and brushing; do not assume compatibility with D3400 low-VOC recipes.
