Awlgrip Awlquik Epoxy Primer Converter | D9001

D9001 converter is the curing component for Awlquik primer/surfacer.

What is included

Converter only; D8003 base is separate.

Mixing and reduction

1:1 base:D9001 by volume; induct 15 minutes. Use T0006 for spray or T0031 for brush/roller, with reduction specific to the substrate and method in the data sheet.

Working and drying times

Approximately 8-hour pot life at 77°F/50% RH. Spray self-recoat after 4 hours; brush/roller and other-product recoats require longer. Sand after the 24-hour maximum unsanded interval.

Compatibility and limits

Not for below-water use. Sealing with 545 before the topcoat improves gloss and distinctness of image.
