Awlgrip Awlfair LW Fast Converter | D7222

D7222 is the faster-curing converter for Awlfair LW lightweight fairing compound.

What is included

Converter only; D8200 base is separate.

Application

Trowel as part of the mixed fairing system.

Mixing and reduction

Mix D8200 and D7222 at 1:1 by volume. Mix thoroughly to a uniform color; do not add solvent.

Working and drying times

At 77°F, approximately 30-minute pot life and 6 hours to sanding, compared with the longer working time of the standard converter.

Compatibility and limits

Apply in controlled lifts over the specified primer, then seal the sanded fairing before finishing. Do not interchange weight and volume ratios.

Sold as one container in the selected size unless the package description specifically states otherwise. Components shown as separate products are not included.

Use the specified ventilation, protective clothing, gloves, eye protection and respiratory protection for the product and application method.
