Mastic sealing tape for forming an airtight joint between vacuum bag film and the mold or work surface. Its conformable form helps seal corners and local leaks.
Apply to a clean perimeter free of stray reinforcement fibers and epoxy. Verify that the assembled bag holds the required vacuum before continuing the layup. Sealant tape is not a structural adhesive.
