Modify an appropriate WEST SYSTEM epoxy mixture for color, moisture exclusion, abrasion resistance or lower friction. Compare aluminum powder, barrier coat additive, graphite powder and white, black or gray pigments by the properties needed for the job.

Additives have different purposes

Graphite does not provide antifouling protection, and pigmented epoxy still needs a suitable exterior finish for UV protection. Read each product's addition rate and compatibility details. First measure and mix the resin and hardener correctly; an additive does not replace either component.
