Turning Point MasterGuard installation kit 11, manufacturer part number 11300101, adapts a compatible propeller housing to the specified engine/drive shaft. This is the hub/installation kit; a propeller housing is not included.
Application and exclusions
13-spline 3.5-inch applications: Johnson 4-stroke 40/50; listed Force 40/50/70/75; Mercury/Mariner standard-gearcase 30–70; Suzuki DT35C–65 (1989+), DF40/50 and DF40A/50A/60A (2010+). Bigfoot, CT and specified SeaPro gearcases require a different selection. Match model and year in the chart. Hustler H1 / Express E1.

Construction and warranty
MasterGuard uses a one-piece hub design with a polymer cushion and corrosion-resistant metal splines. Turning Point advertises a lifetime hub warranty; the 2025 chart limits the 500- and 700-series lifetime warranty to non-commercial use. Coverage is subject to the manufacturer’s terms and does not provide a lifetime warranty on a separately purchased propeller.
Installation checklist
- Confirm engine model, year, gearcase and spline count, then match the hub and prop housing in the manufacturer’s guide.
- Use the hardware specified for this kit and your engine. Included components and reused OEM hardware are application-specific; follow the kit’s instructions.
- Follow the engine manual for torque and locking hardware. Check propeller and trim-tab clearance before operation.
- After a prop strike, inspect the propeller, hub and drive before reuse; replace damaged parts.
