Description
The OEM Quicksilver 89984T3 water pump impeller uses flexible vanes bonded to a fiberglass center insert. It is a replacement impeller for the matching water pump, rather than a complete repair kit.
Selected Mercury applications
- V-115 DFI 2.5L, serial 0G960500–0T178499.
- V-150, serial 0G960500–1B226999.
- 150 Pro XS 2.5L, serial 1B690542 and above.
- 175 Pro XS 2.5L, serial 1B516339 and above.
- 110 Jet 2.5L, serial 1B690542 and above.

Selected MerCruiser applications
Quicksilver lists 89984T3 as the fiberglass-insert alternative to brass-insert impeller 89984T4. The manufacturer’s drive chart lists that impeller for MC-I drives, serial 2495186–6854392, and MR/Alpha One drives, serial 6854393–0D469858. Check the installed gear housing and pump, especially on drives with replacement lower units. Alpha One Gen II uses a different impeller.
