The OEM Quicksilver 89981Q1 water pump repair kit provides the impeller and associated service components for a matching Mercury or Mariner outboard water pump.
Verified application examples
Mercury 7.5hp and 9.8hp two-stroke outboards, USA serial 5206550 and later, with the 0.456-inch impeller inside-diameter configuration. The manufacturer's chart specifies 89981Q1 for this configuration.
The 0.438-inch impeller-bore versions use a different kit. Match the bore and exact pump diagram as well as the serial number.
