Quicksilver 32511A1 is an OEM seal kit for the upper driveshaft housing on compatible MerCruiser sterndrives.
Application and fitment
The manufacturer lists this driveshaft-housing kit for selected IA/IB/IC and EZ Shift, MC-I, R, MR, Alpha One and Alpha One SS drives. Selected serial-specific examples include:
- IA/IB/IC and EZ Shift, 1964–1966: drive serial 1684188–2065186.
- MR/Alpha One, 1984–1990: drive serial 6225577–0D469858.
- Alpha One SS, 1986–1989: drive serial 0A545004 and above.
This is the driveshaft-housing seal kit; lower gear-housing seals use a different kit. Alpha One Gen II also uses a different upper-housing kit. Confirm the drive serial number and assembly diagram before ordering.
