Quicksilver 816761Q17 replaces the ignition wires on selected MerCruiser GM 305/350 CID V8 engines with Thunderbolt IV or V ignition.
Application and details
- Verified examples: 5.0L Thunderbolt IV, 0B774445–0F600999, and 5.7L Alpha Thunderbolt IV, 0B773305–0F600999, with the ignition amplifier mounted on the distributor.
- For those early Thunderbolt IV applications, an exhaust-elbow-mounted amplifier requires a different wire kit.
- Also cataloged for 5.0L Gen+ Thunderbolt V, serial 0L015751–0W300009.
- These are ignition wires; spark plugs are separate.
