The OEM Quicksilver 8M0176312 replacement oil filter is designed for selected Mercury 3.4L V6 and 4.6L V8 FourStroke outboards. M-pleated filter media captures oil contaminants, while an anti-drainback valve helps retain oil for startup lubrication.

- Selected Mercury 175–300hp and 450R FourStroke outboards.
- 3.4L V6 and 4.6L V8 engine families.
- Manufacturer-listed serial range: 2B529482 and above.

Confirm the filter against your exact engine model and serial number. Follow the engine owner's manual for the oil-change interval and installation procedure. Quicksilver lists oil-filter wrench 802653Q02 as compatible with this filter; the wrench is sold separately.
