The OEM Quicksilver 18458Q3 water-separating fuel filter kit is for Mercury and Mariner V6 EFI outboards from 1995 and earlier. It includes the replacement canister element, O-ring and black screw-in water-warning sensor.
Filter and sensor details
- 10-micron fuel filtration.
- Black plastic water-warning sensor.
- Internal epoxy coating and corrosion-resistant exterior finish.
Confirm the engine model, year and required sensor version before ordering. The black-sensor 18458Q3 kit is distinct from the blue-sensor 18458Q4 application. Follow the engine manual for inspection and replacement intervals.
