Application and installation planning
Newt uses a small polycarbonate housing for compact lighting locations such as livewells, lockers and toe kicks. A silicone gasket is supplied.
Check the mounting dimensions and wiring access against the actual installation. Size supply wiring and protection for the complete circuit, using the exact model instructions and suitable marine installation practices.

Common questions
Does the gasket replace the installation instructions?
No. Use the gasket and follow the model’s mounting and sealing instructions for the intended wet or dry location.
Can I use an external dimmer?
The manufacturer marks third-party dimmer compatibility as Yes for this model. Confirm the dimmer type, voltage and load requirements in its instructions before selecting one.
Manufacturer warranty
Lumitec states that products purchased from January 1, 2025 onward carry a five-year limited manufacturer warranty for the original purchaser. Earlier purchases retain their applicable original coverage. Keep proof of purchase and obtain a return authorization before a warranty return.
