Interlux Clear Wood Sealer — Base, 1 Quart
Description
Description
The base component of a fast-drying two-part polyurethane wood sealer. Its grain-filling properties prepare suitable wood for compatible varnishes and urethane finishes. Supplied as one quart of base only; YVA328 curing agent is required and sold separately.
Product and system details
| Container | 1 US quart |
|---|---|
| Manufacturer part number | YVA327/QT |
| Mix ratio | 1:1 by volume with YVA328 curing agent |
| Mixed-system sheen | High gloss |
| Recommended coats | 2–4, depending on wood porosity and required grain filling |
Selection and use
Use as a primer/sealer with a compatible finish coat. It is not a final exposed varnish. Prepare sound two-part coatings as specified; remove conventional one-part finishes before use. The label notes potential darkening on light-colored woods. Follow the exact US product instructions for thinning, ventilation and application.
