Selection and Application
A lighter amber, satin finish for marine wood, including teak. Choose the appearance separately from the protective gloss topcoat.
Follow the product label and technical instructions for preparation, mixing, application conditions and overcoating intervals.
Application Reference
| Coat schedule | Bare wood: 3 coats following the specified preparation. |
|---|---|
| Coverage / yield | Theoretical: 305.3–400 ft² per US gallon; first-coat absorption varies with the wood. |
Prepare bare wood and allow it to dry before coating. Marine Light is the lighter amber base finish; optional Cetol Marine Gloss is a separate overcoat.
Coverage is per coat unless a filler thickness is stated. Theoretical figures exclude application losses; practical yield varies with surface, film build and method.
