Application and hardware

For cataloged 25 HP CT, 30 HP FourStroke (2005 and earlier), and 40–60 HP two-stroke and FourStroke standard-gearcase applications. Match model, year and shaft before ordering.

Match the exact engine model, year, gearcase, shaft splines and rotation. A horsepower range is not universal fitment. Use the correct thrust washer, adapter and retaining hardware specified for your engine and hub.

Selected manufacturer applications

  • Selected Mercury/Mariner 25hp CT/BigFoot four-stroke 1999–2005; 30hp CT/BigFoot 2010 onward; 30hp two- and four-stroke 1994–2005; 35hp 1984–1989; 40/50hp two- and four-stroke standard gearcase, 1977 onward; 60hp two- and four-stroke standard gearcase, 1978 onward. Requires a 13-spline shaft.
  • Other cataloged examples include 45hp 1986–1989, 48hp Mariner, selected SeaPro/Marathon models and older 70hp models. Verify the complete model/year application before purchase.
  • Selected Force 40/50hp 1995–1998 and 75hp 1996–1998 applications are also cataloged. Other brands can require different thrust washers or attaching hardware.

Before installation

Select pitch using the engine manufacturer’s recommended full-throttle RPM range and your boat’s loaded performance. Follow the engine and hub installation instructions for hardware and torque. Original photographs represent the family; dimensions vary by selected part number.
