Awlgrip Griptex Non-Skid Additive | 73012, 73013, 73237

Griptex adds a textured non-skid surface to an approved marine coating system.

What is included

Choose Fine (73012), Coarse (73013) or Extra Coarse (73237). Paint base and converter are separate.

Application

Broadcast application or approved spray equipment.

Mixing and reduction

The manufacturer guide specifies 8–10 oz by weight per mixed gallon of base plus converter for the described spray application. Stir and strain/adjust equipment as the coating system permits.

Surface preparation

For the broadcast method, apply evenly into tacky coating, remove loose excess after drying, then seal with the specified subsequent coats.

Compatibility and limits

Use the coating-specific procedure. Spray requires suitable large-orifice equipment; airless application is not recommended. A gallon/quart package describes container volume, not a gallon/quart of mixed paint.

Sold as one container in the selected size unless the package description specifically states otherwise. Components shown as separate products are not included.

For professional use. Read the current container label and safety data sheet before opening or mixing. Use the specified ventilation, protective clothing, gloves, eye protection and respiratory protection for the product and application method. Keep solvent-containing materials away from ignition sources. Coating and additive instructions are product-specific.
